Other computer configuration options (CTOs) are available on a special order basis. CTOs can only be made in-store and are subject to availability. CTOs must be paid for in advance and cannot be returned under any circumstances. In the unlikely event your unit is defective when it arrives, we will work with Apple to have your unit replaced or repaired under warranty. Since CTOs are built to customer specifications, delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

We strongly recommend the purchase of AppleCare+ for all Apple device used on campus. AppleCare+ provides additional warranty protection, 24/7 tech support, and two cases of accidental damage protection, per year, for a small co-pay. Under AppleCare+ a broken Retina computer display, for example, is repaired for $99. Without AppleCare that same repair would cost $500-$700. Even including the price of the AppleCare+ the total cost of the repair would still be significantly less. Accidents happen – be prepared! AppleCare+ is your safety net.

Apple computers, iPhones and iPads can be repaired through the campus repair center. If your device is in need of repair, bring it to the UStore and we will help you with that process.
