UMass Student Ambassador Program

The UMass Store is looking for student ambassadors to help us improve our product, customer service, experience, and more!
Applications are due by Tuesday, August 27st.

The role of a Student Ambassador is to provide feedback and valuable insights about the UMass Store. Students are expected to commit 15-20 hours per semester, including a variety of short and fun projects as well as attending monthly special events and providing an end of semester recap of your experience.

This commitment commences September 1st, 2024 and concludes December 10th, 2024. After you have successfully completed all of your responsibilities on time, you will be paid $150 at the end of December. Read on for more details on requirements for receiving payment.

MEETINGS

Student Ambassadors are required to attend three meetings total:

Meeting #1: Introduction Meeting (September)

Meeting #2: October

Meeting #3: November

Meeting #4: Conclusion Meeting (December)

EVENTS

Attend at least 1 UMass Store off-site event with Mackenzie.

UMASS STORE REWARDS & SOCIAL MEDIA

Student Ambassadors must join the UMass Rewards Program & engage/interact with UMass Store accounts.

Follow UMass Store on Instagram, Facebook (if you have an account), & TikTok

MONTHLY ENGAGEMENT

Student Ambassadors are required to engage monthly with the UMass Store's Instagram account as well as the website.

Post an approved photo of current UMass gear on Instagram once a month, tag @umass_store, and provide a copy of the image to the store

Write a product review on a UMass-branded item from umassstore.com once per month

CREATE A VIDEO

Student Ambassadors are required to develop one, 15-30 second video about current UMass-branded fashion items.

This can include:
• Student Interviews
• A video of you or a friend telling us why you love UMass fashion
• UMass fashion show
• Favorite UMass Store experience (can include off-site locations)

Videos must be taken in horizontal form and can be created using iMovie, Tiktok, or Reels and must be approved by the UMass Store marketing team. The video cannot be a slideshow.

END OF SEMESTER SURVEY

Student Ambassadors must complete an end of semester Survey regarding your semester store & events experience.

OTHER DUTIES

Other duties of a UMass Store Student Ambassador may include:
• Modeling
• Surveys
• Focus Groups
• Tabling
