About the Artist

Katie McDonagh is a Massachusetts local and a double major in English and Studio Art at UMass Amherst (Class of 2027). Her creative work spans fiction, poetry, narrative nonfiction, and visual art, with a primary focus on painting as well as pastels, ink, and digital media. Her series of UMass prints celebrates the beauty and character of campus through colorful, hand-drawn digital artwork inspired by iconic landmarks and academic buildings. Popular as dorm décor, graduation gifts, and keepsakes, these prints capture the spirit of UMass Amherst through the eyes of a student artist.
